The Thurcroft takes its design from the traditional heating stove. It is a quality constructed stove made from cast aluminium and steel and painted matt black giving an appearance that is in keeping with the traditional country cottage or home.
The Thurcroft is the ideal gas heater for a conservatory or large kitchen. It can be used in a lounge and makes a good Inglenook stove. Even when it is not turned on, the Thurcroft still makes a great focal point to the room.
The rear wheels on this portable gas heater make the Thurcroft a versatile mobile heater, as it can be moved from room to room. Iit allows you to use the same heater in several locations wherever you feel the cold.
The Thurcroft living flame portable gas heater provides instant heat that can be used in every room without the hassle of needing a chimney or power sockets.
The Thurcroft flame effect is provided by the ceramic coals that are set behind a glass window. The gas heater has three heat settings that vary the size of the living flame. On the highest setting the flames give the appearance of the lively young coal fire, while on the lowest setting the gas heater appears like mature glowing embers.
The Thurcroft living flame effect portable gas heater comes with two main safety features;
Firstly the pilot light analises the carbon dioxide level in the room and automatically turns the gas heater off before it can reach a dangerous level.
Secondly this portable gas heater will turn its self off if the pilot light is blown out.
The Thurcroft Living flame portable stove has a 2.4kW maximum heat output and a minimum setting of 1.9kW. What’s more, the Thurcroft is highly efficient and can run for up to 60 hours on just one 7kg cylinder.

This gas heater is not suitable to be used in the following locations; a bedroom, a bathroom, a shower room, a hairdressing salon, a basement or private garage. It is also not suitable to be used in a boat or leisure vehicle. If used in a family environment extra care should be taken to protect the elderly, the less able bodied, children and pets. When used in a work place, a suitable risk assessment should be carried out. Care should be taken not to place combustible materials in close proximity to the heater.
