Two generations of the Ford family of Raleigh, North Carolina, joined together to create Ford’s Foods Bone Suckin’ Sauce.’’ It was my grandmother’s recipe’’ explains Patrick Ford,’’ and my uncle, Phil Ford, refined it, and my mother Sandi Ford named it’’. The sauce’s colourful name is down to Sandi’s mother, who grew up during the Great Depression.’’ They were so poor, they sucked the sauce off of the bones,’’ Patrick explains.
Bone Suckin’ Sauce is fat gluten free.
Ingredients : Distilled Vinegar, Water, Grade 1 Mustard Seed, Brown Sugar, Molasses, Jalapeno Peppers, Cornstarch, Tumeric, Paprika, Spices, Garlic Powder.
