Quick Overview

Pilot Gas Alarm with Gas Monitoring System 12v

The Pilot Gas Monitoring System is a simple, no frills, basic, does what it says on the box, marine LPG gas detector. It also has a remote gas isolation valve that will shut the gas off if the alarm sounds. A button on the control panel will also allow you to turn the gas on or off with out having to go to the gas locker.
The Pilot Gas Monitoring System has a two remotely mounted sensor heads that should be fixed in a low level location where gas is likely to collect.
The Pilot Gas Monitoring System is designed to sound if it detects a concentration of LPG before it exceeds 25% of the lower explosive limit. Once it does it sounds a loud (95db) warning signal.
The Pilot Gas Monitoring System is quick & easy to install. It just requires a fused electrical supply from the ships batteries. The sensor head has a 5mm diameter cable making it easy to discretely pass the wire through bulkheads.
The gas valve should be fitted in the gas cylinder locker. It has 1/4 BSP Female inlet & outlet to accept compression stud fittings allowing you to connect to any sized copper pipe.
