The story started small. With Globaltic owning several meat restaurants in Tallinn and Helsinki, having good quality charcoal was really important to them from day one. Unfortunately for them, finding it was the real challenge. Using supplier after supplier they found the quality varied, inconsistent and when they tried to communicate with these suppliers, they had very little luck. However, they managed to handpick several trustworthy and quality manufacturers based in Estonia, Russia and Finland. When they had built such great relationships for their own restaurants, it made sense to share the love and start distributing their charcoal to other restaurants and food chains in Estonia that were having the same issues. Now it is time for them to do the same for the rest of Europe.
Their journey led them through many woods from as many countries including Indonesia, Poland & Nigeria to name a few.
