Definitions


"We or Our or Us” means Socal89 Ltd
“You or Your" means the person whose order for the Goods is accepted by us
"Contract" means the Contract between the Buyer and the Company
"Goods" means Cylinder Gas and/or Appliances
“Working day” means any day excluding; Saturday, Sunday or a Public Holiday

General


We are registered in England and shall be governed by the English Law and shall submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in respect of any dispute, suit or proceedings.

Ownership


We shall retain ownership of all goods until full payment is received. The goods shall be at your risk immediately on receipt of the delivery.

Delivery


Our goal is to deliver your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. The vast majority of them are delivered within 5 clear working days from the receipt of the order, some maybe next day. Where ever possible, we aim to dispatch your order either the same or following working day, but delivery can take 2-3 days.
If for some reason we can’t meet our goal and delivery is expected to be longer than 5 clear working days, we will phone you or email you with an expected delivery date. We may contact you to confirm delivery of high value or fragile items.
Delivery times to addresses outside the UK will be longer. Most orders from the EU will be delivered within 15 working days.
We dispatch most orders using Royal Mail or DPD, however larger or fragile items are normally dispatched with TNT. Where possible, hazardous items are dispatched using our own vehicles. Where ever possible, we will email you tracking information on the day of dispatch.
We may decline to deliver if: We believe that it would be unsafe, unlawful or unreasonably difficult to do so; or the premises (or the access to them) are unsuitable for our vehicles.
If you need to contact us about a delivery, please have your order ID or invoice number to hand

Guarantee


We offer a full 12 months guarantee on all products, which is supplemented in some cases by a longer manufacturers guarantee.

Complaints Handling Procedure


All comments will be treated in the strictest of confidence in line with our published privacy policy. Queries will receive a response within 48 hours. The response will include an estimate on date and action required to resolve the query.

Intellectual Property Rights


All rights including copyright, design and trademark rights are owned by us.

Pricing Policy

All prices displayed or quoted are Retail Prices and are inclusive of VAT at the appropriate rate, unless otherwise stated. All prices are an “invitation to treat”.
We are committed to giving you the best value through great products, at great prices, supported by great service and technical expertise.
Our online prices are the same as in showroom for new boxed items, however used, ex display, or soiled items may be offered at discounted prices in our showroom.
We do not offer a price matching scheme, however if you see exactly the same item in stock, being offered by another local retailer, we will do our upmost to offer the same or reduced price.
We will not price match an online only retailer. This also excludes Gas & sale items

Returns Policy


We will happily refund the price of all goods (excluding: sale items, special orders or custom or tailor made goods) within 28 days with proof of purchase. After 28 days the goods can be exchanged for other goods of an equivalent value or for a credit note to be used at a later date. We reserve the right to deduct a restocking charge. Cost of carriage in returning goods is not refundable.
Please contact us immediately should you discover any item to be faulty. We would normally expect the faulty item to be returned to us for investigation or examination.
Should any item found to be faulty within 28 days of purchase, we will repair / exchange / or offer a refund. After this date we reserve the right to repair the goods or arrange for their repair.

Termination


We may end this contract by notice to you in writing (such notice to have immediate effect), without affecting any other rights:

• Except in the case of a genuine dispute, where you have failed to pay any amount which you owe us under this contract; or
• You commit any material breach of the terms and conditions of this contract
• You become insolvent

You may also cancel the contract as allowed under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you exercise that right, you will receive a full refund subject to a deduction of any direct cost of returning the goods.
